Education Required:

General Description:
As a Drug Substance Cell Culture Intern, you will play a crucial role in our team. The Drug Substance Cell culture Intern will have the opportunity to work directly with technicians and management, learn about the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, and understand the complexities of a site-start-up operation. By the end of the internship, you will have acquired practical skills in manufacturing operations, cell culture processes, and compliance with regulatory standards, including documentation such as SOP, MBR, etc.
Hands-On cGMP Operations: Essential functions of the job include but not limited to:
Learn and follow cGMP procedures to support manufacturing execution and automated recipes
Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) & Steam-In-Place (SIP)
Medium preparation & transfers / filtration
Support sample testing
Support material request and transfer
Support material organization on the floor
Support 6S organization and management on the floor
Support cleaning on the floor
Collect and organize information related to manufacturing.
Conduct equipment testing and verification procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability in laboratory processes.
Assist in red lining of standard operating procedures and master batch records.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods, up to 8 to 12 hours/day.
Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend/stoop, push/pull, and handle/grip frequently.
Must be able to work scheduled 40 hours with the ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be comfortable in working in varying temperatures.
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying. Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
Regular reaching, bending, stooping, and twisting.
