General Description: The Maintenance Engineer Intern will be involved in troubleshooting, operating, and providing support for installed systems.  This role will be based in Hopewell NJ and report to a Senior Engineer Facilities and Utilities.

Essential Functions of the job:

Support projects in the design, development, and qualification of equipment, and utility systems.Review technical documentation.Assist in Validation of equipment and facility.Develop maintenance plans for equipment and utility systems.Organize and develop spare parts structures. Gather and organize calibration data.Hands-on experience with equipment, mechanical aptitude.Directly support operations with troubleshooting and issue resolution.Work on small cross functional teams in support of small projects or initiatives.Requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment including gowningSupport operations and ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate and site requirementsCollaborate and work closely with Automation teams, Operations Teams and Quality. The ability to operate self-sufficiently and to motivate oneself is crucial for the success of this position. In addition, the ability for this person to develop and maintain transparent communication between departments is essential

Computer Skills:

Willingness to learn, and ability to learn new software, programming language. 

Other Qualifications:   

1+ years related engineering experience.Experience authoring and reviewing standard operating procedures, on-the-job-trainings, and other controlled documentsEffective written and verbal communications skills

Travel:  Up to 10% as required

$21.00/hr (associates)

$27.50/hr (undergrad/bachelors)
