General Description: The US Forecasting & Analytics team within the Hematology Business Unit is seeking a highly motivated intern to support data-driven strategic initiatives for in-line and pipeline hematology products. The intern will assist in developing business forecasts, market assessments, and performance analytics that inform cross-functional decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to commercial forecasting, data modeling, and business insights in a fast-paced, innovative biopharmaceutical setting.

This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that impact patient outcomes and business success.

Essential Functions of the Internship:

• Assist in the development and refinement of product forecasts using historical data, analogs, and assumptions• Support the design and execution of scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and competitive landscape modeling• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Global Insights• Conduct secondary data analysis (e.g., claims, prescription data) and contribute to the synthesis of key business insights• Translate quantitative analyses into clear, compelling recommendations for internal stakeholders• Participate in regular forecast reviews and business planning sessions• Support ad-hoc analytics and executive reporting as needed• (Preferred) Prior exposure to forecasting models or pharmaceutical market research techniques• (Preferred) Familiarity with epidemiology, hematologic conditions, or oncology therapeutic areas

Computer Skills:

• Excel (advanced)• PowerPoint (strong presentation skills)• SQL (basic querying preferred)• Python / R (preferred but not required)• Forecasting tools or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, SAS, or similar) – a plus
