The Data Engineering intern will be creating a solution to extend our existing data warehouse capabilities to ingest and store text-based data that is well indexed and likely cross platform in Azure. This intern will gain hands-on, real world, professional experience with designing and implementing database structures and data ingestion pipelines. Other responsibilities will include following a formal SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) process including peer review and code promotion/deployment through multiple environments. Coordination with the Data Operations and Business Analytics teams will be expected as well. As time permits, other responsibilities may include ETL Data Source Monitoring, work on building a data dictionary, system research, and related training. There will be opportunity to see problem resolution via troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
