Overview Job Purpose The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic experience that combines on-the-job training with exciting team projects, community outreach, social events, and professional development sessions. You’ll have the chance to build meaningful professional relationships and sharpen your interpersonal skills, all while making an impact. In this role, you will join our Infrastructure Development & Automation team where you will be working on our in-house automation platforms, advanced infrastructure monitoring tooling, and other internal development projects within the Infrastructure/Operations vertical. You will be exposed to all layers of these tools as well as learning the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes at ICE. In time, you will help support other teams’ use of these tools and develop new features or improve existing ones. Responsibilities Learn and follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Gather requirements, development planning, and participate in scrum ceremonies Contribute directly to at least one codebase Contribute individually or as a team member to support functional areas, analyze business processes, and achieve assigned by an experienced manager Engage with business partners and contribute to projects that drive significant value Perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge and Experience Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their junior year of study Computer science or related major Software development focus Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills Possesses effective computer skills, with a solid working knowledge of MS Office Desirable Skills Ability to work with JSON, XML, YAML, and other data interchange formats Familiarity with code testing Exposure to database vernacular and SQL Exposure to Linux servers and navigating within the shell environment Internship Program Schedule Internships start on either May 12, 2025, or June 9, 2025, and run until August 1, 2025. Interns should be available to work full-time, 5 days a week, at our Atlanta of Jacksonville office.
