Why Sarepta? Why Now?
The promise of genetic medicine has arrived, and Sarepta is at the forefront. We hold leadership positions in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and limb-girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMDs), and we currently have more than 40 programs in various stages of development in gene therapy, RNA and gene editing. In 2023, we launched our fourth therapy and the first ever gene therapy to treat Duchenne.

The Importance of the Role
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
Assist attorneys and paralegals across the Legal department on legal projects of interest to the intern and of importance to Sarepta
Legal projects may include conducting legal research, assisting in the review and drafting of basic agreements, assisting in the review and preparation of patent and trademark submissions, assisting in the review and preparation of distribution agreements, and assisting in the review and preparation of SEC submissions
Research an area of law relevant to Sarepta’s business and write a memorandum summarizing findings
More about You
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (chemistry, biology, or related)
Completed at least one year at an ABA accredited law school
Comfortable with major legal research tools
Program Timeline:
This application is for a 12-week summer internship program that will start on May 19th and conclude on August 8th, 2025.
