**Operations Summer Intern**
Burlington Township, New Jersey
The primary responsibilities of the role include safety and environmental compliance, quality procedures, data collection, problem solving and continuous improvement as part of a work team. The Operations Intern works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others as well as other production units and support functions. This position is managed by the Director of Manufacturing at the Burlington Plant, with an intended start date of June, 2025 until August, 2025.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Accountable for full compliance with safety and other Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements
+ Understands and is accountable for all Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and cleaning standards and guidelines
+ Must be familiar with procedures for all equipment within their work area including, but not limited to, normal operations, quality inspections, safety procedures and safeguards, and lock out tag out (LOTO)
+ Utilize SAP and other processes to help improve operations and documentation to properly record production
+ Stays abreast of team’s production performance via visual, written and verbal communications
+ Participates in regular review of team production performance and events
+ Seek and apply Continuous Improvement tools and techniques to achieve team goals
**Required Qualifications:**
+ To be part of this transformative experience, you need to be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with a focus on Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Business Analytics/Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and/or Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Grain Science, or Food Science. Plus, a GPA of 3.0 or higher and authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship needs.
+ Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week
+ Proficient with computers, software, and data processing
+ Exemplifies positivity, integrity and a willingness to learn
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ DOMO Experience
+ GMP and/or consumer goods manufacturing experience a plus
+ 1 or more years previous manufacturing experience
+ Demonstrated competency in problem solving, decision making, effective communication, and results oriented
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $22,50 - $30,00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
