The Oxbridge Summer Scholars (OSS) team is seeking Student Supervisors to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the wellbeing of our students and successful delivery of our summer programmes. Job Description: Summer School Student Supervisors
We are currently seeking multiple Student Supervisors to join our summer 2025 programmes. It's a full-time position, including working weekends/bank holidays and in the evenings. We are running five programmes this summer:
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for safeguarding of students and student behaviour Resident in college for all weeks of the programme plus an additional preparation day; eating meals in college with students and staff. Run timetabled evening activities and weekend excursions for students (with Programme Manager) Assist Programme Manager and Head of Programme with administrative tasks so OSS runs smoothly day-to-day (e.g. report student attendance from each seminar, print materials for tutors) Assist students’ arrivals and departures; show them to their rooms, help them settle in Taking initiative to deal with situations such as student illness; travel issues etc Monitor student whereabouts and curfew at 10pm each evening Capture daily photo/video content that can be used for our social media 24 hour emergency contact for studentsRequirements
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
