We are now looking for a Summer Trainee to join our Manufacturing Solutions team in Hyvinkää. Our team is responsible for manufacturing development and new product implementation as well as developing our operations towards industry 4.0. We work closely with global development teams and other KONE manufacturing units to develop and implement best practices for KONE manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include:

Development tasks related to production processes and documentation.Tasks related to the utilization of data as part of production development and continuous improvement.

For our summer internships we are looking for students with different backgrounds to bring open-minded ideas and perspectives to our organization. We appreciate your cooperation skills, initiative-taking personality and an independent working style.

In addition, we appreciate the following qualities:

From 2 to 5 years of studies, preferably in the technical or IT fieldFluency in English, other language skills are an asset.Interest in understanding how industrial organizations and teams work.Keen interest to data analytics and Machine learning. PowerBI and Python skill is an asset.Desire to collaborate cross-teams and co-create with colleagues.

The location of the job is KONE Industrial Oy, Hyvinkää manufacturing unit. The internship is three months of full-time work and preferred starting date in the beginning of June 2025, lasting until the end of August 31st 2025.
