Description: **ABOUT THE ROLE** The dump truck driver is responsible for operating a super 18 dump truck to transport asphalt, aggregate and other materials to various job site locations. **WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING** + Operates truck in a safe and professional manner while complying with HOLCIM's safety standards including all state and federal regulations. + Performs daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines. + Punctual and prepared to load at the assigned scheduled time at all times. + Effectively communicates with dispatch department + Performs preventive maintenance such as regularly checking air pressure in tires, checks fluid levels including oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel. Performs minor repairs to truck as needed; refers major issues to supervisor. Maintain appearance of truck. + Maintain professional attitude with all internal and external customers and peers both in person and on radio communications while providing excellent customer service. + Other duties as assigned. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR** + Licenses Required: Valid Class B CDL (tanker endorsement preferred) + Minimum of one year of related work experience + Manual Transmission truck + Prior experience working in contracting, construction materials or transporting equipment preferred + Ability to communicate effectively verbally and writing. + Ability to do basic mathematical calculations + Must pass DOT physical and have clean driving record + Must be registered for the FMCSA Clearinghouse + Must be willing to work in dusty and dirty work environments. + May be exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles. + Noise level is low to moderate + Must be willing and able to work in all outside weather conditions. + Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on duty and job sites. + May require sitting for extended periods of time. + Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators.
