Super User & Data Analyst (CLS) (1st Shift) - Sacramento CA

Overview:

The Super User Data Analyst (SUDA) candidate will serve as a support analyst, assisting with LMS (Labor Management System) and Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System). Working closely with operations and customers, the SUDA will address data, model, and process issues throughout analytical project development, implementation, and production. Additionally, the SUDA will maintain data accuracy and consistency by navigating existing automated processes and procedures, while also managing reference documents.”

Responsibilities:

Efficiently communicating and providing support for LMS (Labor Management System) and Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) to both operations and customers.Identifying root causes for recurring issues in LMS, Excel models, and data models, and documenting standard operating procedures to resolve these issues promptly.Collaborating with the operations team to enable reporting capabilities based on hourly operational reports.Creating visualizations through dashboards and generating reports for end-user consumption.Developing and implementing efficient data analytics projects, including data collection, storage, analysis (via data mining, process analysis, performance benchmarking, and descriptive analytics).Acquiring expertise in advanced data analytics and data modeling techniques.Regularly publishing daily operational numbers, weekly KPIs, and monthly KPIs.Compiling shift hand-offs and providing a daily update for the customer.

Reviewing Daily Timeline Results:

Conducting a thorough line-by-line review of the previous day’s production timeline in LMS (Labor Management System) and Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) for both operations and customers.Addressing any significant gaps in time or indirect activities within the LMS timeline and collaborating with supervisors to resolve issues.Investigating and rectifying any discrepancies related to punch details that may impact the Efficiency Percentage (EP%).Ensuring that there are no negative EP% values due to incomplete punches or indirect functions.

Analyzing Daily Production Reports:

Run the daily Gap Report and address any gap times exceeding 30 minutes.Investigate the identified individuals in LMS (Labor Management System) and Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) identify potential causes of gap time.Edit and finalize the daily production reports for posting on the LMS board.

Reviewing Weekly and Monthly Production Reports:

Edit the weekly production reports to ensure accurate information for daily posting on the LMS board.Detect any anomalies that may not have surfaced in the daily reports.Make necessary adjustments and refine the output for production report posting.

Incentive Report Verification:

Conduct a detailed line-by-line review of the weekly incentive report.Confirm that all eligible employees are listed in the provided reports.Verify that hours match between LM Pay Records and the incentive report.Approve incentives within the LM system.

Operator Management in LM:

Add new users and configure their settings in the Manage Users section of LM.Remove old users who are no longer employed at APL.

Monthly Reporting Support:

Assist managers by providing daily, weekly, or monthly reports for review with employees.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering or Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.Business Associate education level.Interest in the field of operating systems.Proficiency in operational and technical incident management and resolution.Capability to analyze problems and/or operational requirements.Skill in managing and reporting information at the Operations management level.Familiarity with basic operations: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Ability to handle and resolve operational and technical conflicts/problems.Proficiency in leading workshops to solve operational and technical issues with teams, including client teams

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The typical starting salary range for this position is:  $64,480 - $71,384.

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
