Primary Objective:  In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.

Function as a primary source of finish application in yarn conversion resulting in resistance to wear, dimensional stability and its design meeting the specifications of the end product.

Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

Thread and repair breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs Select and stage tubes for winder operation Doff off finished yarn packages as required Maintain daily production goals Perform other duties as required

 

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

Previous yarn or manufacturing experience is preferred

Competencies:  Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.

Read and write in standard English Complete basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction Communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports
