We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an experienced **Electrical Construction Superintendent** to oversee and manage all aspects of the electrical portion of a Design Build industrial construction project located near Radford Virginia. **The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing electrical projects on USACE, NAVFAC and other Federal installations with an emphasis on Industrial construction in a Firm Fixed Price contract environment.** Candidate should also be familiar with electrical systems, electrical construction management skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. **Responsibilities Include:** + Supervise Electrical Subcontractors to ensure compliance with project schedule, plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards + Oversee the installation of electrical systems including wiring, lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security systems, etc. + Ensure proper use of materials/tools/equipment while minimizing waste/costs associated with them. + Maintain accurate records of daily activities including labor hours worked by crew members. + Coordinate with other trade subcontractors to ensure proper workflow. + Assist in the overall management of the project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones. + Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. + Be a key member in the resolution of issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. **Qualifications:** + Extensive knowledge about National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes/regulations pertaining specifically towards electricity-related installations/maintenance procedures/practices + EM 385 USACE safety standard familiarity is required. + Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Electrical Superintendent or as an Electrical Construction Manager, special consideration will be given to demonstrated experience in the Industrial sector is preferred. **Or** + Minimum 15 years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent or as an Electrical Construction Manager. Special consideration will be given to demonstrated experience in the Industrial sector and Controls Systems installation. Or + Minimum 10 years’ experience as a certified Master Electrician with experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Industrial Electrical General Forman. Special consideration will be given to demonstrated experience in Industrial Construction **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
