Position Summary
Responsible for day-to-day inspections onboard, linked to structural integrity, fire structural protection and overall insulation system as per approved documents. Evaluation of correct execution process on as build specification and verification of implementation of approved standards, prior to final closing of ceilings and bulkheads. Involved on design and approval process and verification of Noise Prevention Plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily inspections and patrolling onboard, evaluating the quality and execution process Focused on safety processes on board linked to daily yard activities Safety walkthrough Approve drawings and standards for NB project relevant to fire structural protection and sound insulation. Applies relevant rules and regulations in the development of cruise ship design and building, including evaluation of new materials. Cooperation with various disciplines on correct execution based each standards and methods.Qualifications:
Naval Architect and or Marine Engineer with 5+ years experience in similar role.
Key skills & experience required
Fluency in English. Computer literate Knowledge of SOLAS, IMO. Proactive Self driven Team player Good communication
