Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and correct job site hazards immediately. Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office. Responsible for the overall project including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and promoting a good relationship with the client. Responsibilities + Direct all field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule and within budget. + Ensure quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. + Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and correct job site hazards immediately. + Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office. + Manage overall project including cost, schedule, quality, and safety. + Foster and maintain a good relationship with the client. Essential Skills + 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with ground-up projects valued at $2 million and above. + Proficiency in construction management, commercial construction, and blueprint reading. + Experience with construction software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + 5 years of experience running commercial projects and managing subcontractors. + Knowledge of carpentry, general contracting, and construction supervision. + OSHA 30 certification and strong understanding of safety guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferably an Associate’s Degree, but extensive experience is also considered. + Experience managing, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors. + Experience with new construction and additions, rather than remodels. + Previous work on budgets ranging from $2-5 million. Work Environment The Superintendent will be managing direct reports and subcontractors, primarily from the Omaha office, with project visits and occasional meetings in Lincoln.
