Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage healthcare, retail, and corporate office construction projects in Augusta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on the job site.Monitor construction progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably with experience in healthcare, retail, and corporate office projects.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are a plus.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with retail/restaurants, medical/healthcare, and corporate/office projects.Experience in ground-up construction and interior renovation.Proficiency in Procore and other construction management software.Ability to manage schedules effectively.Work Environment
The work environment is primarily on job sites throughout Southern Maine, with some days in the office for company meetings and trainings. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00
