Job Description
We are seeking a Superintendent to join our growing team in Northern Virginia. Our office is based in Winchester, but most of our work is concentrated in the Fairfax corridor/NOVA. We are a general contractor specializing in commercial work, and this role will be part of our healthcare team, focusing exclusively on GROUND-UP healthcare construction projects.
ResponsibilitiesPre-qualify subcontractors and conduct subcontractor visitsSupervise 5-10 staff members across multiple projectsManage all field personnel, providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluationDevelop daily schedules for the job site and handle any issues that ariseManage RFI's and submittalsEssential Skills8+ years of GROUND-UP Superintendent experience within commercial/healthcare constructionExperience running projects valued at $20 million or moreProficiency in dealing with subcontractors, scheduling, and budgeting from the field perspectiveAdditional Skills & QualificationsOSHA30 certificationFirst Aid and CPR certificationsWork Environment
This position will be on-site in Winchester, VA and NOVA daily. The role involves working on a small, growing team focused on high-level healthcare construction projects in greater Virginia. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, outside weather conditions, wet and humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, extreme temperatures, electrical shock risks, radiation, and vibration. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.00
