Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction

$50 million+ ground up experience

Job Description

This role is for a Superintendent specializing in ground-up construction projects. The projects include schools and multi-family buildings, all of which are large-scale commercial constructions with budgets exceeding $50 million. The projects are located throughout Washington, DC, and the company has an outstanding reputation within the construction industry in the DMV market.

ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of ground-up construction projects, including schools and multi-family buildings.Manage projects with budgets exceeding $50 million.Ensure all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Coordinate with project managers, assistant project managers, and other stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and subcontractors.Prepare and submit regular progress reports.Essential Skills10+ years of Superintendent experience at a commercial general contractor, specifically on large base-build projects.5+ years of commercial construction experience with a focus on ground-up projects.Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (AEC).Extensive experience in managing large-scale ground-up construction projects.Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on school construction projects.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Work Environment

The work environment involves both on-site and office work, depending on the weekly job schedule. The Superintendent will need to be flexible and able to adapt to different settings and demands of the job.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

This will be a 3 step interview process. The first interview will be with the HR Director, Kea Magoh, ensuring that the candidate checks all the HR boxes. The second interview will be with the direct hiring manager for the team (VP of that specific team). The final interview will be a meet and greet with the MCN team in their office in DC.
