**Job Overview:**
Leads the delivery of the offshore HUC scope of work and is the single focal point for McDermott offshore reporting to the Project HUC manager. Plans, directs and leads the offshore HUC effort by applying the most cost-effective plan and strategy in accordance with our Corporate and Area guidelines and operating standards. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day offshore HUC management, primarily by managing and directing a team of discipline supervision and the associated labour. Provides daily progress updates and forecasting to the project management team, along with an explanation on KPI targets. Ultimately ensures the successful delivery of the HUC scope is achieved whilst maintaining the standards of safety and quality as defined in the company procedures.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Leads a multidiscipline team of supervisors and labour
+ Provides directions and makes decisions in pursuit of project delivery
+ Overall management of the vessels being used, jack ups, workboats including the associated supporting vessels
+ Ensure readiness prior to the offshore HUC campaign starting, this includes material, equipment, tools and labour
+ Reviews and provides inputs in to the execution plans and strategy
+ Reviews and accepts jobcards and schedules, and provides input as required
+ Prepares daily progress reports, and reviews input received including the KPI’s and productivity
+ Leads daily progress meeting with the project management team, presenting the daily progress report
+ Institutes measures for improvement and recovery planning when needed
+ Builds and develops a strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
+ Manages interfaces offshore with other functions ie Marine, HSE, Quality, and with the clients teams
+ Generates a sense of awareness among the team members in order to meet project objectives
+ Sets the standards of behavior and culture offshore
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ A minimum of 15 years' offshore experience in a similar role
+ Technical background, with strong trade qualification or engineering
+ Previous offshore brownfield project execution
+ Strong leadership skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
+ Computer literate and familiar with typical office application
+ Prior experience working leading a multinational workforce
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong planning and organizational skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
