Your Impact: Oversee mechanical maintenance activities for underground, and electrical & instrumentation maintenance activities for process and underground fixed assets to ensure system reliability and compliance with safety standards.As Part Of Our Team You Will: Coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance operations to ensure efficiency.Adhere to compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Plan and execute maintenance schedules for electrical and mechanical equipment.Handle logistics for electrical and mechanical maintenance operations .Monitor performance metrics and deliver maintenance reports.Coordinate budget and resources for electrical and mechanical maintenance.Conduct regular inspections and safety audits of electrical and mechanical systems.Solve operational issues and streamline electrical and mechanical maintenance processes.Train and guide electrical and mechanical maintenance staff on procedures and safety.Responsible for identifying relevant risks, implementing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring for risks.Responsible for conducting root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvements.Your Training, Skills and Experience Checklist:

Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations): 

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s or PhD) may be preferred.Engineering Superintendent certificate of Competency or Engineering Manager's Certificate of Competency.

 

Additional Knowledge: 

Competent ability to interact, influence and resolve conflict with various stakeholders.Competent experience in leading and developing teams.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance operations, systems management, demonstrating progression through roles of increasing responsibility.

 

Problem Solving Ability:

Works in established systems and processes.Compares data collected from processes with a known model or system.Imagines how tasks might be completed without direct, physical, hands-on feedback.Solves problems where trial & error may not be sufficient; other methods may be required.Extrapolates patterns to make predictions.Improves work methods using significant data and patterns; determines whether a diagnosis is correct or whether it may occur from another pattern.Technical Skills: Advanced understanding of mechanical, and electrical and instrumentation maintenance operations management for process and underground, safety compliance, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration. Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation safety regulations for process and underground, maintenance scheduling, performance monitoring, budgeting and compliance with safety and environmental policies. Advanced understanding and application of mechanical,  electrical and instrumentation systems, tools and software programs. Competent knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for performance. Competent knowledge of health, safety, environment and sustainability regulations and practices. Competent understanding of project cost management and financial principles.
