Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description Under limited supervision, plan, organize, manage and evaluate assigned operations, including but not limited to, daily production, product quality, environmental management, safety, or maintenance. Supervise through Senior Supervisors. Establish tactical and strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures in assigned area within the businessDirect Supervisors and other staff in daily operations; inspect daily operations and projects in progress and upon completion to ensure quality of workProvide administrative and technical direction to staff; interpret policies and procedures established by regulatory agenciesOversee and recommend the selection of key staff; participate in the selection of staffWork with employees to correct deficiencies; implement disciplinary procedures and recommend terminations; investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessaryForecast necessary funds for staffing, materials and supplies, and capital improvement projectsSubmit budget recommendations and justifications; monitor and control expendituresDevelop, plan, and coordinate the work plan for assigned projects and responsibilities, which may include project management, cost estimates and program development; coordinate work with other units and site departmentsProvide information and resources to site officials and other departments; answer questions and provide information to the publicReview Capital Improvement Plans and make recommendationsEvaluate infrastructure, facilities and operating systems for needed maintenance and repairCoordinate the activities of consultants and contractorsPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $113,000 - $158,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What We Require

Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
