We are looking for a Superintendent of Operations to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients business in Livingston, California. You will serve as the primary supervisor for all facility-wide activities as well as primary administrative responsibilities on a given shift. This position is the highest acting authority on site during off hours. Primary area of focus is to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality levels and a safe working environment.
What you’ll do:
Assure efficient use of staff and equipment to meet production needs while maintaining cost and overtime to a minimumAssists in maintaining, creating, and enforcing accurate policies and procedures across entire facilityFoster a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and regulationsAnalyzes area operations and recommends measures for continuous improvement. Also supports and promotes employee involvement in continuous improvement programsProvides leadership and direction via good communication skillsWorks with the Production Manager, Plant Manager, and Quality Supervisor to improve production efficiency and product quality within required specificationsWhat you’ll bring:

About Sensient Natural Ingredients
Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.
The salary range for this position is $94,550 - $157,575 Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
