Downer Utilities has recently been awarded a new contract by Unitywater valued at $600 million over an initial 5-year term. With a range of projects already underway, Downer are delivering capital works for the water, sewerage and recycled water networks within the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions, as well as works across Unitywater’s 17 sewerage treatment plants in the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Moreton Bay regions.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a long-term, high-value contract that will deliver meaningful work to the communities of the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Moreton Bay regions.

Our ideal candidate:

You will cultivate outstanding leadership skills, foster collaboration, and uphold a positive mindset, enabling you to efficiently focus on continuous improvement of work processes and service delivery.

Previous experience in a Superintendent role working with Large Water Board or Utility provider. Demonstrated experience and success in team leadership roles.   Experience driving quality outcomes within Project Delivery (time, cost, quality and safety). Ability to develop and manage schedules whilst overseeing the coordination and scheduling of resources, subcontractors, materials, plant and equipment. Experience in methodologies and technologies associated with construction of water infrastructure – water retaining concrete structures, deep shafts, trenchless & open-cut installations, mechanical equipment, electrical and control systems, etc. A commitment to driving a positive and successful safety culture.   What’s in it for you?
