Position Summary:

Person in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

Administrative supervision of staff assigned to the program; Monitor the adherence to the policies and procedures of the program; Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews of the treatment case files to ensure compliance with program standards; Facilitate educational groups, family groups and assist clients of the program; Responsible for ensuring facility compliance with health, fire, safety and other regulatory standards; Mediate client issues that cannot be appropriately resolved at the program level; Ensure that the agency systems for collecting statistical data necessary for program evaluation, planning, justification and staff training are collected as required; Fill in for counselors during times they may be unavailable due to illness, training, etc.; Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested; Assist and monitor data collection and statistical reporting and complete Quality Improvement reports as requested; Maintain relationships with referring and supporting agencies and represent the agency at various community meetings as requested including acting as a liaison to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) when the Program Director is not available; Available to be call and program coverage as needed. Participate in daily shift exchange including documenting in facility log at the end of shifts and thoroughly reviewing log at the start of shifts; Perform the duties of any Counselor when needed; Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation; and Perform any other duties as assigned.
