Join our team as Supervisor, Accounting and Treasury, and play a crucial role in navigating the complexities of high-value and international multi-currency financial transactions while overseeing our accounts payable and receivable departments. You will ensure that all financial transactions are processed and reconciled accurately and ethically, maintaining financial controls and compliance with company policies and governing regulations. This role is key to supporting our financial stability and operational efficiency. Key Job Responsibilities + Lead a team of 2-3 finance professionals in driving the execution of Komatsu’s financial accuracy and efficiency. + Own the business treasury processes and procedures in line with corporate direction. + Oversee day-to-day cash management activities, including cash forecasting and payment operations. Handling high-value and international multi-currency transactions with precision and accuracy is essential. + Handle wire transfers, foreign currency purchases, EFT, payroll transfers, and letters of credit. + Responsible for reporting daily Banking Reports, Weekly Cash Forecast, Weekly Hedging Report, Month-End Reporting, Customer Payment History, Intercompany Charges, AP & AR Aging Reports, Vendor Master, and Concur Administration. + Manage relationships with financial institutions to optimize banking operations and maintain and control multiple bank accounts. + Establish and maintain new credit limits and payment terms. + Administer expense policies and systems. + Reconcile monthly lease accelerators. + Manage efficiency of AR payments with vendors and customers. Review, reconcile, and follow up on AP & AR aging reports weekly and maintain approvals of vendor records in ERP system. + Prepare month-end journal entries and ensure accounts are balanced with the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams. + Analyze and journalize intercompany charges for payroll, benefits, and other expense chargebacks. + Ensure compliance with SOX and Internal Controls Qualifications/Requirements + Bachelor's degree or diploma in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. + A minimum of 5 years of experience in broad financial accounting practices. + At least 2 years of experience in supervising and leading team members. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices in an international environment is required. + Banking experience is an asset. + Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, SAP and banking systems. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities. + High level of self-initiative, decision-making, and ability to multitask with accuracy.
