Supervisor, Clinic Operations - Family Med & Pediatrics - Carmel Valley

This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and occasional weekends. Located at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley. This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP)at the Supervisor level.

What you'll do:

Oversite of both Family Medicine and Pediatric departments.Responsible for oversight of the activities and functions of a department.Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership. Ensures effective use of system resources.Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities.Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule. Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

High school diploma plus three years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of scheduling billing systems. Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, train and evaluate staff. Knowledge of healthcare business and operational practices. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other applicable systems.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

Bachelor's Degree.Leadership experience.
