Job description:

PURPOSE

The Supervisor, Club House ensures smooth and efficient operations in the restaurant's front-of-house area, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization. This role involves staff supervision, training, and coordination, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule and allocate staff based on forecasted business levels.Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and support to ensure team competency.Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.Maintain a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and inclusivity.Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.Address guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.Actively engage with customers to gather feedback and promote a welcoming atmosphere.Oversee reservation management and walk-in seating to optimize guest flow.Monitor FOH activities, including cleanliness, table settings, and service readiness.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and inventory checks.Manage FOH stock levels, including supplies, beverages, and small wares.Conduct regular audits to minimize waste and pilferage.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving cost efficiency targets.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely stock replenishment.Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including staff attendance, sales reports, and incident logs.Assist in planning promotions, events, and special occasions.Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, including alcohol and food.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food & Beverage, or related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in F&B management, preferably in a clubhouse, hotel, or resort setting.Strong customer service management skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Certification in food safety management (HACCP/ServSafe).Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
