Supervisor, Collections - Account Integrity
**Job Summary** The SSC Nashville Supervisor, Collections - Account Integrity is primarily responsible for the supervision of the Account Integrity team to ensure post pay review is successfully completed within department guidelines. **Essential Functions** + Supervises assigned staff and assists with managing workload and performance. + Review account adjustments submitted by the team for accuracy. + Identify, resolve and report issues impacting performance objectives including opening Service Now tickets and performing follow-up to ensure tickets are completed. + Assist with identifying and defining training needs, operational improvements, and policy/process updates. Provide spot training as needed and support manager in implementing improvements and updates. + Work to improve current operations by identifying inefficiencies and recurring issues and communicating those to the Manager. + Responsible for weekly team huddles (MDI) and team engagement. Create and maintain MDI communications with the team, leads MDI meetings and facilitates department or cross-department process changes. + Monitor and report Time and Attendance violations per SSC policy. + Assist with timecard review and approval. + Assist Management with month end close process. Ensure all accounts have been reviewed and all adjustments have been submitted, approved and completed processing. + Provide input on employee performance to management to assist with performance evaluations. + Tracking of weekly productivity and downtime. + Special projects and other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree required + 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. required + 1-3 years Supervisory experience preferred **Preferances** + Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle processes + Working knowledge of explanation of benefits + Possess strong analytical skills + Highly developed written and verbal communication skills + Must be able to work independently in a manner to achieve goals, objectives and productivity requirements + **Computer Skills:** Knowledge of hospital patient accounting systems and billing systems. + **Computer skills:** Hyland Onbase and Artiva experience **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Google suite + Microsoft Excel - advanced + Microsoft Word + Oracle ERP **Licenses and Certifications** + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Equal Employment Opportunity This organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
