Department Overview

 

 

Position Summary

Manages credit related forecasting, metrics and reporting. Manages the analysis of credit related accounts receivables, write-offs, account securitization and other credit related areas to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Stockton, CA approximately two to three times per week, or more, based on business needs.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

 

A reasonable salary range is:

 

California Minimum: $97,000.00
California Maximum: $144,000.00
 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Ensures compliance with legal, Federal and State regulations. Ensures compliance with SOX regulations. Develops effective metrics to track, report on and improve overall department performance. Develops and tracks metrics that provide data for process measurement, business operations or risk assessment and present findings to leadership. Acts as escalation point for customer issue resolution. Collaborates with others to identify, analyze and improve existing business processes within a department to meet new goals and objectives. Performs audit/assessment of potential portfolio/customer purchases to assess portfolio performance, outstanding receivables, and credit/risk exposure including performance of due diligence, assessing loss forecast(s), and performing all aspects of the consumer credit/risk management cycle from prospect targeting to customer management and loss containment. Supervises staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management and rewards and recognition. Develops a strategy to implement work in department.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

Bachelors Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience Experience in credit management Experience in change management Job-related experience, 3 years Experience in collections industry Ability to travel up to 10 percent of working time Willingness to work in an office environment

 

Desired:

 

Bachelors Degree in Finance or job-related discipline or equivalent experience Leadership experience, 2 years Relevant experience, job-related Experience in union environment
