The Sup, HFC Design leads teams of OSP Designers responsible for administering company-wide HFC standards in areas such as OSP - Coax and PON design, monitoring, splicing documentation, distortion calculations, policy development, and process documentation. Assists with departmental OPEX and Capital reporting. Coordinates the development and implementation of policies, procedures, practices and performance measurements that promote an environment of goals and measures effectiveness.

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAdvanced knowledge of HFC Design and drafting techniques and principles on a differing electronic media – Bentley or AutoCADSpatial/GIS ability in applications such as MapInfo, ArcGIS, and Google EarthAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to influence people with purpose, direction and motivation to accomplish goalsAbility to work in fast-paced environment handling multiple responsibilities while successfully meeting goals and deadlines within budgetWorking knowledge of city and map readingGood verbal, written and interpersonal communicationsAbility to effectively present and explain technical solutions to management and teamAbility to maintain and develop individual contributors within the teamAbility to work independentlyAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to maintain confidentialityComputer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio and Project applications programsAbility to supervise and motivate othersMust have a valid driver’s license with a good driving recordRequired Education
