Supervisor for Ford North America Electromagnetic Compatibility: This role focuses on all aspects of Electromagnetic Compatibility as it relates to both vehicles and components for North America Act as People leader for the EMC team Develop EMC teams technical capabilities and establish a team collaborative attitude Participate in EMC technical reviews for all products worldwide and provide input during technical reviews related to component level performance Manage interface and scheduling priorities for NA vehicles with VEV Work closely with VEV to assure vehicles are fit for test and test plans are entered Assure sign off of data is reported and communicated to the program teams Review and asses VSEM reports as needed Provide status for EMC components and Vehicles to In House Hardware management and to Chief Program Engineers Collaborate with Global EMC teams and assure commonality and best practices are established and followed. Work closely with EMC Technical Experts and Leaders to maintain and enforce test procedure

You'll have…

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in EMC testing and compliance. In-depth knowledge of international EMC standards (e.g., CISPR, IEC, ISO, MIL-STD, FCC). Strong understanding of EMC test equipment and procedures (e.g., anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, LISNs). Experience with product certification and regulatory submission processes. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Even better, you may have…

Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Certification in EMC or compliance engineering (e.g., iNARTE Certified EMC Engineer). Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices, defense). Familiarity with simulation tools for EMC analysis and mitigation.

This position is a range of salary grades SG5 – SG7.
