Providing quality and efficient customer service to customers through the daily supervision of a team of employees to include hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training, and problem solving. **Position-Related Responsibilities** · Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to, and facilitate the activities of Customer Service Planners assigned to the work group, including safety, prioritizing, workflow allocation, quality control, staff scheduling, performance reviews and employee relations. · Meet with developers; Review system loads and Evaluate present and future system facility requirements to adequately and reliably serve present and future customers. · Recommend and prepare annual capital budget requests for District. · Prepare and submit request for quotes for large distribution and sub-transmission projects being put out for bid. Evaluate design/construct bids. · Initiate Distribution task orders, review, engineer and design large commercial and subdivision projects. · Specify, recommend, and review design for sub-transmission and distribution lines. · Review Distribution task orders including construction plans, specifications and material lists prior to their release to construction for compliance to NESC and Company Standards. · Prepare reports or information for reports as required. · Track project scope, schedule, cost, and investigate deviations from approved project plan. · Oversee completion of documentation required to update plant records and close distribution task orders, including “as-builds” of plant maps. · Recommend substation, sub-transmission and distribution system design guidelines. Serve on Material Standards and Construction Standards Committee’s. · Perform other duties as assigned. · This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** (Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.) · Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups across functional lines. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
