Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Komatsu Mining Technology (“KMT” – Mining Equipment OEM) business unit and provide support to the Corporate KMT functions such as KMT Legal, Accounting, HR, and Executives. The FP&A Supervisor will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities

•    Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for the KMT business, consolidating product line business unit financials and analyzing results. 
•    Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, strategy, aftermarket, and product line leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
•    Performance Management: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
•    Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
•    Cost Management: Analyze and control costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support cost reduction initiatives.
•    Strategic Support: Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, including capital investments, new product launches, and market expansion.
•    Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
•    Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.
 

Qualifications/Requirements

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred.
•    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•    Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in building process, financial models, and analysis tools.
•    Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BPC).
•    Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
