**About the Role**
The Supervisor, Accounts Receivable oversees the AR team staff activities that promote best practices for AR efficiency and maximization of revenue. You will lead an effective team by demonstrating team leadership, work plan development and project implementation skills. You will create strong customer service orientation and collaboration, results orientation and strategic thinking within the Accounts Receivable unit. You will identify quality issues, advise management and implements solutions. You will also works closely with key team leaders to reduce DSO through effective collections within the GFO organization. You will report to the Manager, GFO, AR and will be based in our Princeton, NJ office.
**You Will:**
+ Prepare detailed chargeback dispute information for AR Analysts weekly.
+ Oversee the processing and posting of cash receipts to customer accounts, including payments made by credit card, lockbox, and direct debits.
+ Verify deposit reconciliations processed by AR Analysts, ensuring alignment with the general ledger and other month-end procedures.
+ Provide guidance and support to AR Analysts in proactively addressing and resolving on-account cash items.
+ Ensure compliance with audit requirements and support AR operations, including credit card chargeback queues.
+ Offer expertise and direction to AR Analysts for managing and resolving American Express and Paymentech chargebacks.
+ Process adjustments to customer accounts and conduct thorough research on complex items.
+ Review reports and documents generated by AR Analysts for accuracy and completeness.
+ Partner with Managers in order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes to resolve customer inquiries.
+ Collaborate with Credit/Collections and Billing Managers to troubleshoot and resolve customer payment discrepancies.
+ Evaluate opportunities to streamline and optimize various systems used in the Accounts Receivable department, including credit card chargeback queues.
+ Assist the AR Manager with any aspect of AR department operations.
+ Provide testing support for system upgrades, such as SAP and new billing systems.
**You Have:**
+ 3+ years of experience leading, managing and supervising AR staff in a highly dispersed order to cash technology environment.
+ AR Supervisory experience within the similar industry.
+ Familiarity with varying lines of business (e.g. billing, collections, disputes management).
+ Knowledge of systems requirement development and user acceptance testing.
+ Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Demonstrated interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and all levels of management.
+ Strong collaboration, leadership, and change management skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills
+ Can work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
+ Knowledge of accounting principles and journals.
+ Ability to review bank statements for irregularities with knowledge in bank reconciliation.
+ Ability to offer and work on special projects with little or no supervision until completion.
+ BS/BA or University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or other relevant background/work experience.
