The Supervisor, Ground Transportation is responsible for supervising and providing support to all frontline operations employees in the absence of the on-site Manager and to ensure the delivery of quality customer service to the traveling public.

Responsibilities
What you'll do
Ensure that all operational schedules are fully staffed with qualified, trained customer service orientated employeesPrepare daily / weekly shift schedules Ensure that frontline employees understand all aspects of their respective assignments, including applicable Airport and SP+ Curbside Management Joint Venture policies, procedures, rules and regulationsAssist in training of operations staff and commercial vehicle operators Monitor all frontline operations activities Assist SP+ personnel in providing ground transportation services and resolving issues/complaints, as neededInvestigate all accidents and incidents per all applicable guidelines and prepare requisite reports Ensure adequate supplies are available to all frontline employees including requisite inventories in boothsCoordinate availability, distribution and proper use of 2-way radiosEnsure that all employees are properly uniformedReport any inconsistencies regarding employee attendance and performance Assist frontline personnel on curb and holding lot during peak times Coordinate with local officials to clear Commercial Vehicle Loading Zones, Ground Transportation (queuing) Areas and Holding Lot(s) of unauthorized vehiclesCoordinate collection and delivery of trip ticketsComplete shift reports Conduct periodic frontline employee performance reviewsMonitor all assigned work areas to ensure safe and clean working conditionsPerform other duties as directedQualifications

Education/Experience - Minimal high school diploma (2 years of college preferred); 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced commercial transportation / customer service environment preferred.

Equipment – Ability to operate a cell phone, 2-way radio and PDA
License Requirement - The employee will be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Salary Range: $25.00 per hour
