Location/Division Specific Information:
Within Patheon, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific in Tilburg, we are responsible for the development and production of commercial medicines in dosed forms soft gel Capsules.
Position in organization:
Reports to: Senior Manager Operations
Discover Impactful Work:
The work is conducted in shifts. Production consists of the departments: Gel/Medicine/Tank wash, Dispensing/Encapsulation and Post Production. In the Gel/Medicine departments, the Gelatin, and the Medicine (respectively the casing and the filling of a capsule) are manufactured.
A day in the Life:
1. An Area Supervisor is assigned to one of the Gel/Medicine, Encapsulation or Post Production departments.
2. Has 8-12 direct reports
3. Is on the floor to support operators to higher output and achieve the daily departmental plan
4. Act on time and correctly in case of (expected) deviations from the total plan in its shift
5. Focus on output efficient and effective C/O
6. Final responsibility to achieve KPI within his shift
Keys to Success: Education
Work and think level:
Minimum 4 years MBO/HBO degree (e.g. engineering, operational process, industrial pharmacy or equivalent)

GMP and EH&S Basic Knowledge, skills, abilities
