Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising and monitoring the daily work of material operations associates and for ensuring the optimal utilization of warehouse space.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervises, coordinates, approves and evaluates the daily work of warehouse office associates, repacker assemblers and material handlers. Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the organizations warehouse(s). Establishes operational procedures, plans the efficient movement of materials and monitors performance and compliance. Organizes and manages the receipt, classification and storage of products, materials, tools and equipment. Implements inventory procedures established by the organization. Identifies space requirements and coordinates needs for storage with delivery and distribution schedules to achieve distribution center goals and ensure customer satisfaction. Sets goals and objectives of team and monitors achievements. Develops countermeasures when problems are identified. Performs Human Resources activities including tracking of time and attendance, associate counseling, scheduling, tracking training needs, evaluating work performance and assisting in skill development. Supports continuous improvement activities to increase the efficiency of warehouse operations. Performs other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities:

Must be a skillful presenter that can interpret information based on a general knowledge of the organization, its products and procedures, and provide an independent explanation and discussion based on the technical or complex nature of the materials being discussed. Excellent customer service skills with an ability to approach every business relationship partnership. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to independently evaluate and develop innovative solutions to complex situations, applying knowledge of specialty area and use of sound judgement. Excellent negotiation skills. Ability to resolve difficult or complicated situations that are often sensitive in nature. Recognizes and applies subtle cues in anticipating customers’ needs and potential next steps. Takes strong stand without indicating disrespect and seeks positive outcomes. Demonstrated competency in working with computer software and mainframe applications to manipulate, analyze and reconcile data Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and inventory databases People management Ability to effectively apply the PDCA process to identify potential process improvementsRequired Qualifications:
Associates degree in related field required 5-7 years of relevant experience requiredSalary Range:
