The Supervisor Metrology & Qualification role at Baxter's Braine L'Alleud site is pivotal in managing and coordinating resources, budgets, and activities related to Equipment Qualification and Calibration within the Baxter R&D Europe Alliance Park (BAP). This position applies expertise to improve processes, optimize budget expenses, and offer comprehensive support across the global R&D Metrology organization. The role involves representing the BAP Metrology & Qualification (M&Q) teams during critical management review meetings, such as Site Quality Reviews and CAPA Review Boards, and serving as the primary representative for internal and external audits. Additionally, the Supervisor provides leadership and project management for global and local initiatives, ensuring alignment with Metrology & Validation standards across R&D, manufacturing sites, and acquisitions.

What you'll do :Directly manage the Metrology & Qualification team members and subcontractors located in Baxter Alliance Park, Belgium.Ensure daily people follow up of the BAP M&Q team.Directly manage the budgets related to BAP M&Q teams as well as functioning expenses.Assume control and review of all related protocols and reports for the laboratory equipment qualification.Pro-actively identify future issues, report them and propose solutions.Contribute to the improvement of the M&Q team organization, in particular for the teams located at BAP.Establish priorities, estimate and ensure that the required M&Q works are planned, performed and reported within agreed time frames according to our stakeholder requests.Present regular project status and proactively report data.Adhere to the Quality Systems and ensure maintenance of GLP standards, be the representative of BAP M&Q teams in audits.Provide expertise on quality-compliant items such as NCR, CA/PA and Change Control management related to M&Q activities and ensure timely completion of related activities.

What you'll bring :Minimum Bachelor degree or Master degree or equivalent experience in Chemical/Engineer/ Technical ScienceMinimum 5 years of supervisory experience in people managementMinimum 5 years in-depth Metrology and/or Validation experience in a highly regulated environmentQualification/Validation of Laboratory Systems, MetrologyTeam & Budget Management and base of finance managementGood presentation and interpersonal skillsStrong in English (reading, writing, speaking)
