Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in offshore operations management or a similar leadership role. Strong understanding of offshore operational processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in challenging offshore environments. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Technical expertise in the offshore industry, including familiarity with technical inspections and offshore regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using computer applications, including data entry systems and productivity software. Must have five years’ relevant experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including IFS. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example in offshore operations.
Essential Functions:
1. NORMS Management:
• Organize and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the critical operations center in an offshore supporting real-time monitoring setting.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth operations and maximize efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics based on critical operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing appropriate proactive actions in lesson learned database.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and optimize performance in offshore environments.
• Maintain effective communication systems to facilitate seamless information flow between teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with offshore regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
2. Operations Excellence Assurance Team:
• Manage the operations excellence assurance team and provide leadership and guidance to ensure their effectiveness and productivity in offshore operations.
• Establish performance goals and objectives for the team and monitor progress towards achieving them.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to enhance operational processes and deliverables in offshore environments.
• Take learnings and best practices from assurance activities to implement improved measurable in technical inspection outcomes.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives specific to offshore operations.
3. Quality Checking Technical Inspections:
• Conduct quality checks on technical inspections conducted offshore to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Review inspection reports, checklists, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established protocols.
• Identify any deviations, non-conformities, or areas of improvement and work with relevant teams to address them promptly.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to inspection teams regarding best practices, standards, and quality assurance.
4. Back Office Support and IFS Data Entry:
• Provide support to the back-office function by assisting in administrative tasks and data entry.
• Enter finding outcomes and other relevant data into the IFS system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure data integrity and maintain a high level of accuracy in all data entry activities.
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve data-related issues.
