Supervisor, Print & Production
**Overview** **How You’ll Make an Impact** Utilizing your production experience and skillset, you will be responsible for ensuring all production and quality processes/procedures are followed for producing print & mail product within the departments you supervise, on your shift, based on the specifications provided by the account services team for all projects. You will ensure that all labor resources and temporary staff are utilized effectively in producing jobs based on production plan identified by scheduling. We are looking for a result-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time management skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate in a pioneering yet process-driven, dynamic, and growing environment. You must have strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment and manage quick-turn projects. **What You’ll Achieve** + Responsible for supervising multiple departments within a shift. (i.e., Bindery, Lettershop, Handwork, Fulfillment), serves as the back-up for the Manager. + Daily operator/machine job assignments. + Monitoring quality assurance. + Timekeeping administration. + Maintain and organize personnel/staffing and inventory resources. + Ensure general safety/housekeeping guidelines are being followed. + Participate in hiring, training, and coaching of production team members. + Perform work quality assessments and feedback for direct reports. + Review all job boards, instructions, and materials to ensure content is accurate. + Coordinate with other departments to understand needs and ensure timely delivery of requested information. + Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems. + Attends and participates in meetings as required. + Any other duties as assigned. **Who You Are** + **What You’ll Bring With you:** + Previous production experience supervising machine operators or production personnel. + Minimum 2 years of experience supervising hourly non-exempt employees. + Minimum 1 year of experience in the Direct Mail/ Service Bureau Industry. + Knowledge of electronic printing, lettershop, finishing, warehousing, and mailing operations. + Knowledge of U.S. Postal Service (USPS) regulations. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products. + Good written and verbal communications skills. + Diligence while working in a demanding environment. + Knowledge of the print production process and agency workflow + Familiar with postal regulations, specifications, and requirements. + Commitment to continuous process improvement initiatives and able to solve problems creatively. + Initiative-taking; inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives. + Microsoft Office Suite a plus + Experience with Printstream and SAP + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field + Previous supervisory experience required. + **Why you might stand out from other talent:** + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a shift supervisor in a print & production environment. + Experience operating print & production related equipment. + Exceptional understanding of print & production processes. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Additional Information** **When You Join Us, We’ll Create Something EPIC Together** Epsilon is a global data, technology and services company that powers the marketing and advertising ecosystem.
