Job Description

•Reporting to the Supply Chain Sr. Supervisor the role holder will be responsible for leading, motivating, supervising, and developing either the Program and/or Tactical Procurement Team within an agreed and defined strategy in support of cost, quality, and delivery targets.

•Management of procurement activities for materials ranging from structural to highly cosmetic parts.

•Active collaboration with cross-functional groups to enable program milestone dates.

•Performs supply/demand analysis to determine internal effect to supply chain activities and supplier production including item branch/master parameters to enable proper execution of MRP.

•Review Bill of Material (BOM) releases, Engineering Change Notice (ECN), drawings on part level analysis and other development documents that will trigger movement in MRP/demand likewise affecting supplier schedule.

•Engagement in cost saving activities and act as liaising body for purchasing activities/tasks and works closely with strategic sourcing to advance enterprise-wide sourcing programs as appropriate.

•Management of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as Supplier quality performance, Supplier on time delivery, Inventory turn-over, Material Spends etc.

•Conducts supplier visit and evaluation for production schedule enablement.

•Reporting and information roll out to internal customers to clearly indicate areas of consideration and/or support.

•Acts as the Supply Chain point of Contact to both internal and external customer, which may require attendance at customer meetings, providing reports to the customer, etc.

•Develop and implement business processes to improve supply chain systems and processes’ execution.

•Uphold high ethical standard code of conduct in internal and external dealings.

•Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Qualifications

•Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent

•In absence of a degree, 3 years of relevant experience is required

•Adequate level of experience and/or training in Supply Chain Management, Program Management, or related field

•Ability to create consensus to ensure results from peers in cross-functional positions.

•Commitment to continuous improvement and life-long learning.

•Excellent time management and active communication skills.

•Ability to manage conflict across multiple roles and teams.

•Knowledge of inventory management processes and philosophies, including MRP & Just in Time (JIT).

•Understanding of financial reports and expense control

•Proven ability to analyze data and successfully develop and execute project plans.

•Experience developing and delivering communications and presentations to both customers, public groups, and internal organizations (i.e., top management, boards of directors)

•Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

•Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with leadership (minimum – up to 2 levels up)

•Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

•Should not have received any disciplinary action for one year.

•Should not be under a Performance Improvement Plan.

•With at least a year in his/her current position.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
