Responsibility
Ensures adherence to safety protocols and maintains a safe working environment. Oversees daily production operations to ensure quality and efficiency and standards are met. Manages and coordinates team activities, providing guidance and support to production staff. Monitors production metrics and implements improvements to enhance productivity. Serve as a key member of the Core Team, collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues. Conducts performance evaluations, issues corrective counselling and provides training in coordination with the Human Resources department
Academic/Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in business, engineering, or related field is highly preferred.Required Skills/Experience
3-7 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry is highly preferred. Ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and ensure productivity. Solid understanding of production and operational processes specific to CNC machining. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety protocols. Working knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines. Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles preferred. Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems
