We are currently recruiting for Supervisor – Projects who will report directly into the Superintendent Sustaining Capital,  this role is being offered on a 8/6 roster. In this role you will supervise and support daily construction activities ensuring alignment with project objectives, meeting schedules and budgets, compliance with safety and quality standards, and successful project execution and delivery.

 

A day in the life of a Supervisor - Projects may include:

Monitor daily construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and quality standardsLiaise and handle construction crews, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure impactful productivity and safety.Support in the preparation and execution of construction schedules, liaising with project managers and other team members to ensure safe and timely completion.Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, solve and handle issues, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Liaise with engineering and procurement teams to maintain the availability of materials and resources needed for construction activities.Administer accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.Assess and solve construction-related risks, applying corrective actions and contingency plans as necessary.Prepare and deliver detailed construction progress reports, including performance metrics and risk assessments, to the Superintendent Projects, ConstructionCoach lead and mentor a team of Project Advisors

 

About you:

You will pose a problem solving attitude whom thrives on improving work methods in day to day experiences and have financial administration, analysis and reporting experience. You will be a passionate leader who leads by example and enjoys coaching a team to be the best they can be and hold practical experience in engineering, construction or mining operations.  Ideally you will have a Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline or Construction Management, with a Project Management qualification and hold a Quarry Manager certificate.
