POSITION SUMMARY:
In accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of Melco Resorts Leisure (PHP) Corporation, the Supervisor, Public Areas is responsible to ensure the effective and efficient cleaning of all public areas of the complex including internal, external, washrooms, front of the house, back of the house and waste depot.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Checks the cleanliness of all public areas to ensure cleaning and presentation standards are consistent with established Minimum Standards, Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and five star standards.
2. Initiates actively and monitors training plan to ensure Supervisors, Housekeeping (Public Area) and Attendant, Public Area are properly trained to perform duties entrusted to them.
3. Ensures all specialized cleaning programs are followed to maintain the presentation of the property to high standards.
4. Manages the quality assurance program to ensure quality standards are maintained 24/7.
5. Ensures all shift are properly manned to carry out cleaning duties as per the SOPs arrange OT if required.
6. Ensures all staff adheres to health and safety policies and procedures for the safety of the workers and guests.
7. Communicates with fellow team members and other related departments to proactively service internal and external guests, and ensure their cleaning needs fulfilled.
8. Ensures all cleaning staff on shift complies with established grooming standards and Code of Conduct.
9. Participates actively in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized for the health and safety of all patrons and cleaning staff.
10. Reports and key-in defect into HotSOS system and follow up.
11. Conducts daily briefing with the allocated teams.
12. Upkeeps and communicates maintenance issues to the maintenance team and proper follow through to their satisfactory completion.
13. Works closely with engineering department to ensure the property is being kept at all times in pristine condition.
14. Works out preventive programs with engineering to ensure not only in keeping up the quality standards but in intend of surprising the standards.
15. Ensures the attitude and public demeanor all the EVS staffs are a true representation of the company.
16. Acts also as part of the ambassador team while working in the public area.
17. Adheres to all Company policies and procedure.
18. Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to supervisors.
19. Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time.
20. Ensures that Kaizen program are adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
2 years working experience with minimum 1 year Senior Attendant
II. Education
Secondary school certificate or equivalent professional training.
Fresh graduate is welcomed
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Ability to read and communicate in English
2. Excellent interpersonal/ presentation skills are preferred.
