Role Summary

The candidate will be Managing all  Testing activities for  API/ Non API standard pumps, Coordinate with customers & Inspection agencies (TPI) for final inspection.

Roles & Responsibilities

Own and Drive activities per the Testing Activities  to the assigned Team members which includes

• Feasibility study of Pump Testing for 4 months and identify any bottlenecks for testing.

• FPY of testing

• NCR closure

Establish safe and proper work area. Respect & follow all the safety requirementsCoordinate with internal stake holders in mobilizing the resources, equipment etc and also coordinate with TPIs and customer in offering the pumps for inspection and clearances.Prepare comprehensive test reports as per the quality standards.Managing instrument calibration activities for testing.Develop, coach  and champion Testing team on Quality  procedures, tools, and techniquesDevelop and execute plans to improve our Testing process  and costs on a continuous mannerDevelop Testing  capabilities  to support varied pump type testing for API, Industrial and Nuclear Market.Manage daily Testing including Daily load allocation, work completion status , NCR management, Test report review,  stakeholder communications & Daily issue resolution.Analysis of Testing issues observed  and support for resolution and  process improvement .Drive NCR management through proper engagement with Stakeholders  and review of Root cause and Corrective actions .Lead, facilitate and coach Problem Solving (RCA/CA/PA) for the facility  through Analyzing trends resulting from Statistical Data and propose suggestions/recommendations for process & Detection corrective actions.Support the  new development product testing .Report Key Monthly KPI for Supplier Quality which includes First Pass acceptance , NCR , Internal NCR, weekly Plan vs actual, Monthly Kaizens.Conduct  Monthly  lesson learnt with team  basis the issues ,Key Issues reported from Test failures.Interact & communicate with customer, supplier &  other functional areas including manufacturing, purchasing, production, and field service/repair to support on Testing  issues plus resolution of any problems.

Required Experience ,Qualifications and Skills

BE Mech with 12-15 yrs experience or DME with 15-20 yrs experience in Testing preferably in Pump's, Valves or any other  OEM environment and preferably from MNCFamiliar in centrifugal pump testing both internal and witness as per HI Standard and API Customer/ TPI coordination is mustDocument review such as QAP/ITP, Customer approved drawing and relevant specificationProficient in Data analysis tools & techniques, corrective action request management, RCA and CAPA tools.Familiar with ISO 9001: 2015 QMS , API & ISO Testing standardsFamiliar with on Hands experience of Working on a Testing  Software’sGood Proficiency in Microsoft Office, English & Fluent in business conversation, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills.Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can-do attitude.Must be able to travel both domestic and internationalKnowledge of know Industrial Improvement techniques like Kaizen, Lean- Sigma, PFMEA, 8D , statistical analysis.
