About the Role & Team

We are looking for Supervisor, Retail Marketing to participate on the implementation of the global Retail Marketing DCP strategy, through the development of specific actions ensuring all the EMEA and Iberia strategic plans are correctly launched.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our Madrid office and 1 day from home.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Retail Strategy & Planning: Support Retail teams to create ad hoc plans for licensees & retailers.

Licensees’ activations: Support local categories (Softlines, Publishing, Food+, Hardlines), on product launches and overall comms activations.

Manage paid and owned media campaigns: briefing, asset creation, campaign launch, and campaign reporting.

DCP Franchise Management with the EMEA regional team and other local teams: Internal voice and advocate of the DCP Franchise across TWDC Brand management and with other LOBs (Studios, Disney+, Disney Destinations, Disney Media Networks…)

B2B strategy: Licensee meeting (Disney Day)

What You Will Do

Participate on building the local strategy for DCP franchises adapting EMEA DCP strategy for Iberian market; and support the implementation of Retail Marketing strategies.

Plan and create impactful marketing campaigns to deliver sales targets according to Company and Key Account Managers targets, by executing commercial campaigns in different retailers: promotions, pop ups experiences, permanents spaces and other in-shop actions.  

Ensure the marketing campaigns are delivered effectively, working closely with all involved teams in accordance with the Company marketing business plan to oversee the workflow for projects that span print, online, and social media.

Ensure all campaigns are measured and results shared, that all best practice learnings are captured within case studies and incorporated into relevant campaigns in the future seeking to improve knowledge and understanding of the various channels and growth opportunities to make marketing investment decisions.

Coordination and generation of synergies within other LOBs (Studios, Disney+, Disney Destinations, Disney Media Networks, Integrated Marketing, etc.) and collaborate with other Marketing teams of our main licensees to generate synergies and maximize our campaigns and investments.

Timely and accurately provision of information to internal and external contacts in all documentation required to support new lines and promotional programs.

Work closely with the Creative team leading campaign briefings to agencies to achieve deadlines and to comply with Disney guidelines, quality and brand at retail level to ensure consistency and effective integration across on air, print and online.

Build and cultivate strong working relationships across the Company and partners, in order to maximize the communication of our promotions and to boost Disney sales.

Support Retail Portuguese Team sharing promotional initiatives that could be also applied to their market.

Bring newness to the team: stay on top of technological innovations and new marketing/trade trends to propose groundbreaking activations with our franchises. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

+5 years of experience in Trade Marketing in a related multinational consumer products company.

Strong product knowledge and industry experience a plus.

Knowledge of the retail landscape & retail tools.

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking skills, attention to details.

Communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Creativity and Innovation

Vision to anticipate customer needs and propose innovative and strategic ideas.

Initiative, results driven, self-motivated.

Stress tolerance and self-confidence.

Influencing skills, team player.

MsOffice skills.

Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related discipline.
