Your Opportunity as Shipping Supervisor

Location:  Arkadelphia, AR

Work Arrangements: Monday – Friday, 3 pm to 11 pm

In this role you will:  

Determines the necessary Manpower needed in the Logistics Department per volume levelsTracks Manpower and develops programs to ensure labor is flexing to volume levelsHelps Determine the Transportation Schedules to our Distribution Centers and CustomersResponsible for weekly Corrugated Inventory; Ordering Corrugated based off Inventory levelsResponsible for implementing and tracking Safety programs in the Logistic DepartmentDevelop and maintain a productive staff by training and using professional development; match the skill and background of associates to the work required; apply sound communication and motivational techniques, to supervise, counsel, and discipline subordinates; and implement performance evaluation systemsUses SAP System daily to manage product inventory and print BOL’sProvide program management support; Lead cross-functional teams, including outsideResponsible for doing payroll for the Logistics Department weeklyDirects and guides employees on Good Manufacturing Programs (GMP)Assist in developing process and procedures

What we are looking for:  

Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or Logistics) is preferred or equivalent Distribution/ Transportation experience. (Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Distribution/Transportation)More than three years’ experience as a supervisor is preferred 

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:  

Experience in Food environment desired.
