Due to growth, we are adding Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services to our Lumicera Patient Services department.
Under general direction of the Associate Manager, Pharmacy Services, the Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of either Reimbursement or Intake Specialists. This position monitors productivity and performance standards and plans and directs workflow and project assignments. Oversees production volume to ensure service standards are met. The Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Support Services will participate in hiring, training, and evaluation of staff, as well as be responsible for team’s adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies. This individual will work with the Associate Mgr, Pharmacy Service to develop policies, procedures, and the business work plan for the team and recognize and recommend operational improvements. Lastly, the Supervisor will train staff and intervene to help maintain a high level of customer service and meet turn-around time standards.

Schedule and monitor staff and day to day workflow. Develop employee’s skills, evaluate performance, and provide feedback. Oversees resolution of employee relations. Participate in hiring, training, and evaluation of staffDevelop, track, and monitor employee’s compliance to quality, service, and production standardsMonitor task turnaround time so that internal standards and client performance guarantees are metAssist Associate Manager, Pharmacy Services in monitoring costs to ensure compliance with cost goalsAddress staff concerns and day to day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issuesWork in production as neededImplement programs and process improvements to enhance the level of internal and external customer service provided. Work with Associate Mgr., Pharmacy Services to analyze operations and overall efficiencies of the pharmacyWork as a point of escalation for issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve. Represents pharmacy operations and service in cross-functional meeting and projectsParticipate in continued quality improvement and quality meetings as necessaryOther duties as assigned QualificationsWhat our team expects from you?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Certified Pharmacy Tech certificate (CPhT) required when overseeing Intake Specialists2-5 years’ experience, previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferredProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & ExcelStrong knowledge of current pharmacy regulationsParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesWhat can you expect from Lumicera?
