POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technology Supervisor, Surveillance will provide and manage technical support to the Surveillance department for the CCTV Systems across City of Dreams Sri Lanka. The incumbent is required to manage and maintain a highly skilled Technical Team capable of supporting all CCTV systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead small teams
Provide team leadership, leading by example.Plan, organise and allocate responsibilities according to system needs.Set performance and professional standards for team members through example.Maintain employee morale, work performance and professionalism by promoting a positive work environment.2. Monitor staff performance and attendance
Provide performance feedback to staff in a professional manner.Recognise and resolve performance and attendance issues.Conduct performance appraisals in accordance with the Company’s Performance Management System.3. Oversee the installation of equipment and systems
Plan and manage the installation of the CCTV, FRS and Access Control Systems.Ensure accurate Maps, Plans and Schematics are maintained.Assembly of electronic control panels.4. Test and commission electronic equipment
Inspect, monitor, and test equipment after installation.Commission the equipment.Provide OH&S and quality assurance.5. Maintain inventory and stock
Prepare Technical BudgetCompare and assess quotes.Prepare purchase orders.Maintain Asset RegisterRotate and maintain stock.6. Service, diagnose and repair equipment
Maintain equipment for Surveillance, Security, and Gaming to prevent failures and faults occurring through regular servicing.Carry out fault finding on equipment.Repair or rectify the fault.7. Respond to breakdowns.
On call 24/7.Plan for response to breakdown.Instigate repair or rectification of breakdown.8. Program equipment
Program software for the CCTV switcher system.Program software equipment for digital recording units.9. Work with colleagues and customers
Train property service officers in repair of basic equipment.Coordinate contractors.Liaise with other Departments.10. Maintain confidentiality.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
12. Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments.
13. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Certificate IV in Electronics or Advanced Certificate in Electronics or similarCCTV Surveillance (IP based system knowledge preferred)Converged Surveillance ApplicationsVideo Analytics and BiometricsIT system administration skillsCisco Certified Engineer or Equivalent (Preferred)Experience in practical desktop hardware and softwareExperience in Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating SystemsAuto CAD SoftwareInstallation of new or replacement CCTV and other electronic equipment.Installation of electronic wiring systems.Termination of equipment and wiring systems.Preparation of electronic control panels enclosures.Installation of internal fixtures, wiring and equipment.Preparation of mechanical joints.Testing and inspection of terminations.Preparation and soldering of terminations.English – spoken and written.Skills / Competencies
