Responsible for technical issues, actions, and problem-solving within the team
Provide direction to technical team of responsibility on a daily basis
Conduct technical planning for daily and operational level commitments
Engage team in technical opportunity identification
Implement technology best practices and continuous improvement methodologies
Inform others of impediments, status, and progress in relationship to SLAs; work with team for high-level technical problem resolution to be accomplished by technical team of responsibility
Identify and mitigate operational risks
Remain current on new technology and methods to ensure state of the art and cost-effective solutions to business processes
Coordinate training to ensure all departmental staff have appropriate skills and receive appropriate information/instruction
Maintain effective communications across technical area, and externally as necessary, to management of related technology teams
Where appropriate involve management, senior-level management, and employees in plans and progression
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment
Basic knowledge of people management
Wide-range technology knowledge, and comprehensive technology knowledge for specific technology area of responsibility
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Preferred Skills
Experience overseeing a team responsible for managing technical organization’s budget & allocation (ITFM) process.
Experience in identifying or refining key metrics that show the overall effectiveness of managing your core responsibilities around IT financial management
Experience in developing trending metrics that can be used for decision making.
Experience in ensuring budget forecasting analysis, project salaries and capitalized projects, are kept current & accurate.
Experience in ensuring processes and procedures for purchasing technical products are developed and followed.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
